This is a piece with layering of acrylics and acrylic mediums. My inspiration was part of a wrought iron piece that I have in my home, minus of course the colors. I am naturally responsive to the warmer colors which in this case worked well.
About Roberta Rotunda
Roberta and her husband moved to South Carolina in 2001 for retirement. Before the move, she worked for a company's advertising department for many years. Along with other responsibilities, she ventured into photography, processing and printing photos in a dark room, plus designing and producing slide shows for worldwide company presentations. At that point, she knew she was destined for the art world. Once in South Carolina, she joined local art associations and attended many workshops and classes to pursue and share her creative work with others and to bring as much joy into their world as it has into hers. Roberta~This is splendid in all ways. I love this. And it does appear spiritual. I love the radiating effects, the curves, the colors, the sense of the center of a cross, but also, the native american concept of the four directions, which is part of their spirituality. Instant vote & fave times 10.
